From the Publisher
Thoroughly researched, carefully written, and comprehensively documented, "Grand Illusions" has already made its mark as the single best-selling volume of all time on Planned Parenthood's role in the controversial matters of abortion and sex education. No other book has so thoroughly surveyed the divisive issues, dominating personalities, legal and judicial precedents, educational and political initiatives, social consequences, and global impact of this organization and the great debates it has engendered worldwide.

5.0 out of 5 stars Must-read for anyone who wants the whole story!, October 14, 1998
By A Customer
_Grand Illusions_ makes for a very interesting read. I highly recommend reading it in conjunction with another book called _Lime 5: Exploited By Choice_ (by Mark Crutcher) about women being abused and defrauded by abortionists. With its depiction of "choice" as an ironic tool of exploitation and oppression by PP, _Grand Illusions_ gives you a whole new perspective on the issue to consider, beyond the overly simplistic arguments of "my body, my choice" and "GOD says abortion is wrong". The undeniable fact that PP still hasn't distanced itself from Margaret Sanger, a white supremacist whose eugenicist views led her on a mission to discourage "Negroes" and "Asiatics" from breeding, is in itself bone-chilling. No matter how you feel about abortion, I advise you to take a look at this book and evaluate the facts in it. Don't let the pro-choice stereotypes and illusions make up your mind on abortion for you!

5.0 out of 5 stars There is nothing like this, June 8, 2000
By Rod D. Martin (Valparaiso, Florida) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This book is probably Grant's most important work, and it is absolutely unique among all the literature on the pro-life/pro-choice debate. No one interested in the pro-life cause has any business being without Grand Illusions, and no one interested in the pro-choice cause has any business not reading this and trying to refute it (they can't, but if they want to claim even the slightest degree of intellectual honesty, they must try).

Pro-lifers are unarmed without Grand Illusions: no joke.

5.0 out of 5 stars Every American should read this book., July 16, 1998
By A Customer
With meticulous scholarship, Grant exposes the racist, elitist, unscientific and subversive policies of Planned Parenthood and the free ride they have received from the American government, media and academia. The details in any one chapter would be a devestating indictment, taken together they show a horrifying pattern of Orwellian activity. The chapter on abortion-related medical studies (and Planned Parenthood's suppression of them) alone has probably saved lives. This is required reading for every parent, person of color, school official and especially for anyone who works with Planned Parenthood or sees them as a benevolent or merely misguided organization. Keep in mind that this will not be light reading (a bazillion footnotes) and it will shock and anger you, but it will be an informative and eye-opening page-turner.
