Editorial Reviews

Product Description
Do you want to know what a job in this industry is really like-and do you want to know it quickly? WetFeet has the best research (and writing) team in the business. WetFeet guides are the industry standard--based on thousands of insider interviews and written with humor and skill, our materials are recognized by candidates and companies alike as the insider guide of choice.

Andersen Consulting is the biggest consulting firm in the world, and still growing like gangbusters; the firm's revenues grew by more than 20% annually every year from 1994 to 1997. Formed in 1989, the firm very quickly moved to the head of the industry both by concentrating in its traditional strength in IT consulting and by moving into other fields--management consulting, human resources consulting, and outsourcing, among others--in a big way. Now it's trying to break its ties with its parent firm, the tax and accounting giant Arthur Andersen. Will it succeed in its quest for independence? Will the battle with Arthur Andersen have any effect on the job seeker? How can you best prepare for your interviews with this consulting King Kong? The answers are all here, in the new WetFeet.com Insider Guide.

From the Publisher
"The information you provided on Andersen was excellent. It gave a realistic step-by-step process of how to approach the firm, what questions you will need to answer and ask, and what the reality is within their corporate culture." (Mid-career job seeker)

"The Andersen Consulting Company Insider was invaluable - and I really apprecaite how quickly you guys got it to me. The interview went great, and now I can make an informed decision as to whether this company is right for me."

"Because of my research and your packet, I was able to move through the interviewing process quite rapidly and effectively, and was finally offered the job at Andersen Consulting (San Francisco Office)."

2.0 out of 5 stars Old Info, June 16, 2001
By A Customer
This is an old book with generic information. The only mention of the change to Accenture is a sticker on the cover. For the high price, I expected more information on the particular business lines they cover, the job rankings and levels, more specifics on everything. I learned more about the company from their own website...
