Editorial Reviews

Product Description
"A Little of Dis and Some of Dat" is an enjoyable book written by Dr. Walter Weiss for practical use; yet designed for your entertainment. The chapters are interesting, informative, and short. This allows the reader to easily flow in and out of the "kitchen-tested" recipes. The recipes themselves have been skillfully laced with anecdotes and funny happenings.

"A Little of Dis and Some of Dat" provides a unique approach to the culinary arts, emphasizing the "cook to taste" method used by Walter's German grandma. Nevertheless, the need to measure initially is the key to a good start. This book eliminates shopping for that perfect present for your friends. Surprise them by giving this volume as a gift for any occasion.

About the Author
Dr. Weiss was born on March 5, 1928, and was reared in and around Dillsboro, Indiana. His professional life has also centered within the confines of Indiana. Nevertheless, his writings and lectures have taken him to 49 of the states.

Dr. Weiss holds four earned college/ university degrees. He has always tried to keep a low professional profile, allowing his words to stand on their own merits. His works have been in the field of medical research and counseling, especially in the area of mental retardation. He has also been connected with public, private, and state schools.

1.0 out of 5 stars "The worst book I have ever read in my life...", May 24, 1999
By A Customer
This was simply the worst book I have ever read in my 55 years on planet Earth. At no point did Mr. Weiss ever come close to making a rational thought. I award him no points, and may God have mercy on his soul...
