I particularily like the patient teaching section. I've often used my RN wife's NDH, recently replaced by the 2006 version. Try to find niacin (for hypercholesterolemia) in the PDR for instance - whereas the NDH has a compact yet thorough description of indications, dosing, adverse effects and fundamental pharmacology. The little CD enclosed prepares patient information on some 200 common drugs. All told, this is a neat yet compact drug reference guide.
