Ms. Cameron does a nice job in this inter racial romance - Tyler and Desiree meet at work and the sparks fly. Tyler is centered lawyer who grew up recognizing dysfunctions in relationships that he witnessed from his own parents. Desiree is a professional woman who has dreams of expanding her education (becoming an attorney) - and she dumps her longtime boyfirend/fiancee after she realizes that he does not feed her heart. This couple tackles all of the stigmas and taboo's of white/black dating as well as extended families (Tyler's divorced with two kids)Great job - this story promotes happiness is where you find it!!! Tyler is not only financially secure, but he is handsome, has good values , knows how to treat a woman and he is very sensual! A keeper no matter what race!:)

"Never Say Never" was a compelling read with a few problems, but ultimately a keeper. Desiree Diamond is a paralegal stuck in a dead end relationship with a man who refuses to commit to her. In comes Tyler Banks, a handsome, kind man who works with Desiree and has his eye set on her.

I liked Tyler and Desiree. He was a man who knew what he wanted and didn't play games. He was patient and loving. In short, he was a grown-up that made his own decisions and didn't care what others thought.

Desiree was a little more problematic. She had reservations about becoming involved with Tyler. Considering the fact that Tyler was a lawyer while she was a paralegal, her reluctance was understandable. She quickly came around and found a relationship worth the hassles that came their way. She was "too- stupid- to- live" sometimes, but those moments were few and far between.

Desiree and Tyler were smart, decent characters that I could identify with. The chemistry between Desiree and Tyler was good, although I think that things became physical a little too fast. The supporting cast worked and provided some laugh out loud moments.

It was difficult for me to rate this book. After I read it the first time, I thought it was a little above average. After re-reading it, I realized that it was a story that had more depth than I originally thought. This could be due to the pacing of the story, which could be a little slow.

All in all, I think that this book rates 4 stars. It was a sweet love story that illustrates how adults should behave in relationships.

This was a good book. Nice length. Good character development and good interaction between the two main characters as well as the supporting cast- their respective families/friends. Would definitely recommend!
