He has taught fly tying and fishing in Canada, New Zealand, and more than twenty states, and has written more than five hundred magazine and newspaper articles on fly fishing. Previously the regional director for continuing education at Penn State University, he divides his time between homes in State College, Pennsylvania and Mesa, Arizona.
