I am a physician, trained in Western Science. I recognize that much of what is said in Li's book is too much for some people to hear. But I really recommend that EVERYONE read this book. Don't expect anything; the truth that is meant for you, will FIND you. This book, on the very first read, explained many things that have happened in my life that no other system of philosophy could explain, and I now have a peace and a strength that I did not have before. Quite frankly, the exercises seemed SILLY . . . until I tried them. All I can say is I hope you try them, too.

After the first time I read through the book, I felt that this is a great and unique book about Qi Gong and teaching how to become a good person as well. Before I read this book, I had many puzzles why Qi Gong and Tai Chi can provide significant health benefits for millions of practitioners around the world, even though there are so many books available. After the first reading, I found that I wanted to read it again and again. Through many times of reading of Zhuan Falun, I have realized that Zhuan Falun is the greatest book and a scripture of extensive knowledge and profound scholarship in the history of the cycle of mankind. Zhuan Falun not only reveals what Qi Gong truly is, why and how Qi Gong can heal illnesses, and why advanced-level Qi Gong can benefit people much more than physical exercise and modern medicine, but also many essential issues such as prehistoric culture, the true origin and the true meaning of human life, and the reality of different time and spaces. Most significantly, the book reveals the highest cosmic quality: Zhen-Shan-Ren (Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance), and the Great Way of Falun Cultivation taught in the book can truly guide people to higher levels. The book is not associated with any religions, however can give guidance to anyone in their cultivation including those who have religious beliefs.

One significant feature of this book is that the author incorporates modern sciences and modern medical sciences to elucidate phenomena not revealed or discovered in modern society and illustrate advanced principles.

This book has been genuinely guiding me like no other spiritual book or practice I have ever read/practiced before...all the questions I have had regarding life and death, illness, spritual cultivation etc. have been answered by sincerely studying Zhuan Falun. I would recommend it to anyone, anyone at all, regardless of their opinions on spirituality, current beliefs, or opinions on Falun Dafa. I have, through the rational understandings gained through studying the book and self-reflection, improved my moral standards, achieved increasing inner peace and tranquillity, and many other great benefits.
