ISBN #1-58873-002-6 This one is NOT for the faint of heart. "Bodice Rippers" is composed of three very different tales linked by the BDSM theme of each one.
The first offering takes us to Medieval England in a beauty and the beast tale, with a serious twist, or should I say 'bent'. The beast is truly monstrous yet very erotic. The beauty simply can't help herself. I truly enjoyed following these two down the path of decadence. I believe you will, too.
Our next story takes us to Confederate America and the war between the states. Rose is a rebel spy and Alan is a union major. Rose has to betray Alan and, of course, he must punish her. The unique aspect of this tale is that it isn't only the female character being introduced to new delights of the flesh. The male character is also a novice when it comes to erotic discipline. This adds an entirely new dimension when you consider how a man may react when he feels that dominant thrill for the first time. definitely worth your time and attention.
Last, but certainly not least, we go to the future. Here we meet not one but three wonderfully alpha vampires. Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, for Verica Sher, these particular vampires haven't had a woman, in either way, in six months. Now, we all know vampires prefer human blood to synthetic and warm aroused blood best of all. This tale will definitely enthrall the adventurous among you, just as it did me.
Well, this is my two cents worth on "Bodice Rippers", a very appropriate title, by the way. But, don't take my word for it, try this one on for size yourself. One more thing, you may need a few accessories......a cool drink or a hot man. (; Ti

Bodice Rippers by Anastasia Day is a darkly erotic compilation of three short stories -- Bondage, Beauty and the Beast, A Question of Pleasure and The Bloodslave. Not for the faint of heart, there is a definite edge of BDSM in the stories; yet the author manages to introduce a thread of romance and tenderness. In the first story, Bondage, Beauty and the Beast, the author takes the classic children's fairy tale and gives it an adult twist, much like Anne Rice did with the Sleeping Beauty Trilogy. In A Question of Pleasure, the hero is a Union Major and the heroine a rebel spy. Catching her in the act, he decides to proceed with his own interrogation rather than turn her over to the authorities. The Bloodslave features a vampire as the hero paired with a human woman he has captured during battle. None of these stories would be considered PC; the heroines, although strong in their own right, are placed in submissive situations and learn to test the limits of both pain and pleasure. There are quite a few scenes that include spankings, group sex and a definite emphasis on anal intercourse. If you're feeling adventurous or just simply in the mood for something that goes beyond the conventional, this book may be just what you're looking for.

Sizzles, Sparks, and Sets You On Fire!, October 10, 2001
Ms. Day has written a tale of fantasy, a tale of the future, and a tale of the past. In each of these stories she has given us a taste for an unconventional flavor of love. And how delicious these flavors are!
Explicit and unique, this book is not for the faint of heart and explores a titillating side of love. Each story has a Happily Ever After, and some of the hottest scenes I have read in quite a while!
If you are looking for something risque, and to be pulled into a fantasy, curl up and be prepared to finish the whole book in one bite! You won't be able to help yourself :)
