Futuristic Romance at it's best!, November 8, 2005
Futuristic Romance is my favourite genre. And in this genre Angelea Verdenius books are little known, but wonderful. Love's Bewitching Thief (LBT) is part of the Heart and Soul Series of which all Angela's book are comprised.
LBT can be read as a stand alone, and of the series is one of my favourites, but it is well worth the effort and the expense to collect the entire series. (...)
The thing I like best about her books are the Heros, the Daaman Traders, although the Felys, which are akin to Dara Joy's Familiars, and of whom the heroine of this book is, are incredible too.
Angela's books are interlinked, similar to Staphanie Laurens 'Bar Cynster' or Lori Fosters 'Visitation' books. But her heros are out of this world. When you finish one of the books, there's none of the usual wistful longing for it not to end, only anticipation for the next installment of the series (About one every six months since I've been following), where you will inevitably encounter old favourites, and before you know it, you'll be back re-reading their story. In case I haven't made it clear, I absolutely adore this series and I hope, unrealistically I know, that she never stops writing them.
As much as I like some book, I don't write reviews for them, (Usually too lazy) but I had to do so for this book when I saw that it only had one review, that's how much I love her work. I know it hasn't been on amazon for very long as I check every so often, and I anticipate more positive feedback as she becomes well known.

Love's Bewitching Thief, July 30, 2008
Love's Bewitching Thief is the sixth book of the Heart and Soul Romance series. This series features the Reeka, a warrior race of amazon-like women who have been wrongfully accused of killing their men and are trying to regain their reputation and homeland, as well as their allies the Daaamen traders. Other races such as the lustful Argons have also been introduced in previous books.
In Love's Bewitching Thief, the reader learns of a new race of people called the Felys. The Felys are a nearly extinct feline like race of people with insatiable sexual appetites while in heat. This book focuses on a single Felys a young thief named Lysie. Lysie chooses an Argon man named Marten as her target for thievery. She succeeds the first and second time by wearing various disguises but is eventually caught.
Love's Bewitching Thief is a lustful romance story. Like the rest of the books in this series, the female characters are strong, stubborn, and sarcastic. Unlike the previous stories however, this book has a little more humor and playfulness. Like the other books in the Heart and Soul series, Love's Bewitching Thief is fully self-contained. Therefore, one can read this book without having read the first five books. Nonetheless, reading the first five books in this series will give the reader more information on the collective personality traits and historical background of the various cultures described in the book.

Everyone MUST read this author's books!, October 26, 2005
I stumpled upon this author while living overseas. This author's books are absolutely, positively the best books I have ever read. This particular one is a little silly for me, but start with book one and you'll be cheering all the characters and ready to read the next immediately -- sleep, who needs sleep!? Her characters are strong, know what they want, heroines that are a bit of a cross between Xena, Laura Croft, and Joanna Lindsey sensuality. And you have to LOVE the male characters who deal with the strong headed women with humor. If you can't find the books here, you can get them via e-format or shipped from Australia. Just do an author search. FAB-U-LOUS!
