About the Author

Andy Anderson is a grapics artist and designer who has worked with Photoshop and Illustrator since they were released. Andy is a published author and Rockhurst University professor, presenting lectures and seminars on an international level. He develops curriculum and resource material for clients such as the U.S. Government, Boeing, and Disneyland. Andy has also contributed to numerous magazine publications and has appeared on NPR as a graphic arts and Web design special consultant. He also wrote and produced two talk shows for a local Knoxville, TN cable station. He is the author of "1001 Photoshop Tips" and "HTML & Web Design."

Andy's book Photoshop 7 Creative Workshop is a real treat. Finally a book that gives me creative ideas that I can use in the REAL world. The book is divided into workshops with easy-to-read details on how to do each special effect, and the companion Web site has access to al the images used in the book.
I highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to take Photoshop to the next step... it's really good.

The companion webpage for this book is www.premierpressbooks.com and you merely feed in either the title OR the author and the web page for downloading the .psd files pops right up. Premier Press is INDEED in business, and most reputable.

I seem to always purchase books that exceed my grasp.. and this book is no exception. It is inspirational on a number of levels and the list price ($49) is something you can get around by purchasing it elsewhere (like Amazon.com or www.abebooks.com)..

At last a title that give me creative ideas that I can use on a daily basis. Andy seems to understand Photoshop on the user's level... I'd purchase any title with his name on on the cover.
