A single design of cloth doll is the foundation for the rather wonderful embellished and beaded creations by several artists in this book by Cuela (Creative Cloth Doll Making), dollmaker Anne Hesse, and bead weaver Laura McCabe. Not a toy, the doll is a voluptuous fantasy creature with many personas and elaborate beaded costumes. Instructions are for doll construction and beading onlyÿcostumes are left to the crafter.
