He has also been involved in medical legal work as well as lecturing in Primary Health Care. The world of medicine - where cold, evidence-based science intermingles with the warm, complex, emotional and spiritual human being - has sparked an interest in Jean, leading him to pursue the connection between these two diverse poles of the human condition. This pursuit, offset by the dramatically changing physical, social and spiritual landscape of the world, led him into writing this book in an attempt to finding the missing piece of the current human-led world puzzle, and to present possible solutions.

An excellent written 'in a nutshell' book on post, present and future states of Being and purpose. Quite a thought provoking journey, taking you from M-Theory to David Bohm and ancient mysticism to current world events.

'The Sleeper Must Awaken' has really changed a lot of my views, answered a lot my questions and put the world and my place in it, into more perspective. As an added bonus, it also contains very valueble condensed information on physical as well as mental wellbeing and improving your relationships!

I highly recommend this book to those who have delved through countless ammounts of books looking for 'the answer', but can't seem to find it.

The Sleeper Must Awaken is a wakeup call to the world, Dr. Erasmus takes us into the puzzle of life and helps us to see where we as humans, fit in the larger scheme of things. His insights appeal to your deeper sense of logic as he masterfully puts the pieces into place. He writes in such a manner that anyone can understand, it's pure genius.
His book can help you to understand why things are so chaotic today and what we as individuals working towards the same goal need and can do to bring about balance, before its to late.
I highly recommend this book.
