Aromatherapy can be defined as the art and science of utilizing naturally extracted aromatic essences from plants to balance, harmonize and promote the health of body, mind and spirit.
The Educational Course in Aromatherapy's mission is to revive the knowledge of the medicinal use of aromatic plants and essential oils to its fullest extent and to restore aromatherapy to a truly holistic professional art and science.
About the Author
I, Leana Golan, was born and raised in Moscow. Since early childhood I was surrounded by the smell of plants, cosmetics and aromatic products, living, breathing, and participating in mother's projects, something which was a tradition in my family for many generations.
I'm very proud to be able to continue in my family tradition, and happy to see my daughter following in my footsteps. For the last 20 years I'm involved in research of product safety. I'm astonished by the amount of products in the market which are unsafe and actually damaging. Therefore I decided to open my own School which will give me the ability and opportunity to teach and make available my knowledge and experience. I plane to introduce the magic healing of plants in skin care, known for many hundreds of years which for some unexplained reason is being discounted and not utilized. But thanks to the latest scientific research and after participating in some of the research myself I feel, I will be able to introduce in my School many new methods and ways of utilizing plants for better health.
