I highly recommend the EZ Solutions Math Series for anyone taking the GMAT. I bought them seeing the positive reviews elsewhere and they really lived up to the recommendations. Despite having a decent quantitative background, when it came to some of the questions on GMAT specifically those in the Probability & Stat area, I was struggling. I needed something that explained the basics and at the same time was capable of giving me sufficient knowledge/strategies to solve the problems found on the test. The EZ Solutions Math Series fit the bill perfectly. After going through the series, I have seen a marked improvement in my scores. I had earlier gone through both Kaplan and Barron's Math sections, but felt that they didn't give me the necessary confidence. For serious test takers, I would definitely suggest going through the EZ Math Series before attempting those on the Official Guide.

EZ Solutions Logic & Stats would be a great option to learn some of most challenging math concepts related to counting, permutation, combinations, probability, sets, sequence, averages, etc. This book would teach you the best and easiest way to answer such problems in a step-by-step manner.

Based on the many queries I've received, the following is my general evaluation for all EZ Solutions GMAT books:

Thorough Review: I can say with most certainty that if you have all the EZ review books, you'd have covered each and every math topic that can potentially pop up on the test.

Intensive Practice: If you have both the EZ workbooks, you'll get a good practice from the easy to medium to the most difficult problems, and be ready for any type of problem on the test.

Great Strategies: If you want to learn some time-saving strategies, then definitely get the EZ math strategies book, as this book does an excellent job with solving some of the most difficult problems, and this book is worth using just for the data sufficiency section which is very nicely explained in this book.

Stepwise Method: Unlike most other books where you'll see long boring story-like paragraphs of explanations, here in the EZ books you'll see everything broken into steps, which is easier to read and better to understand.

Organization: The EZ books are extremely organized. Each of the main topics is divided in different books, and each topic and sub-topics are very well broken up in a hierarchical manner, like 1, 1.1, etc. Honestly, I have never seen such an organized test prep book as you only find this in technical books. So, everything will be at your fingertips, you can quickly jump to any topic you want from the TOC.

TOC: I recommend that you read the TOC, which is given in each product page to know what's exactly in each book. I wonder why I don't see the TOC in any of the other books on amazon.

Finally, I am myself a part time GMAT tutor and I think if you have the EZ Solutions GMAT test prep series, you won't need to spend a lot of money on tutoring or test prep classes.

I bought the series of EZ Solutions for the GMAT and found them to be very helpful. After going through GMAT books from Kaplan, Princeton Review, and others, I needed something more in-depth to tackle all type of questions. The EZ books cover a broad spectrum of content and practice questions with detailed explanations. These are great books for those who are seeking to perfect their score or need something more than just the basic review provided in regular study guides. They are also a good review for those who have been out of school for a while and need to refresh their math skills to score higher on the GMAT . The EZ books are very detailed and comprehensive, far more than any other book that I have seen. I would highly recommend using the EZ Solutions GMAT set of books to improve your scores!
