Product Description

In cities nationwide, some of the worst criminals are violently executed—shot, stabbed, strangled, and poisoned—but law-enforcement agencies have not connected these crimes. The typical response is a sigh of relief when these sociopaths, psychopaths, pedophiles and cop-killers are sent to the gates of hell where everyone agrees they belong. A Boston homicide detective reaches out to his brother, an FBI agent in Baltimore. A small FBI task force, headed by Carmen Isabella d’Aragon, soon discovers the shadowy truth: Hundreds of psychopathic killers have been executed over the years and, time and time again, no clues have been left behind or have been totally misleading. Carmen becomes the target of a serial killer. Will she survive the encounter…or will an executioner intervene on her behalf? And why does U.S. President Bradford declare this matter “top secret” and rule against a larger task force?

5.0 out of 5 stars A Popular Refrain but on a National Basis - Intriguing, July 21, 2008
Every once in a while, the citizens of this great country sense or recognize grave injustices being done by our courts and the entire system of law by which we live. This book suggests that changes are way overdue but in the meantime, these worst of the worst criminals without consciences are being dealt with, well, executed. I'm for it but I'll be interested to know where the author will take the law in his sequel.

5.0 out of 5 stars Justice Frustrated is never a Good Thing, July 27, 2008
By Jenny Wilder (Hampton Roads, VA USA) - See all my reviews
I was priviliged to read the original manuscript and really liked it. Curious to see where this will lead if our laws, juxtoposed with justice, can be brought to the same level. It all seems to come back to what's really right and wrong.
