‘First-rate entertainment; a tribute to the intelligence.’ -- Daily Telegraph

Product Description
A dour and highly-respected High Court Judge finds himself on trial for the murder of a prostitute. He has no recollection of the events leading up to the murder so believes he may be guilty. 4.0 out of 5 stars A very enjoyable very British mystery, August 12, 2003
By A Customer
This is the first of his books that I've read and I'm going to buy some more. Not precisely a mystery, as we know all along that defendant is innocent, the fun in this book is the process of entrapping the true murderer and the very British insights into the criminal justice system and Barristers and Soliciters. All with a dry comic wit and a very light-hearted spirit, but also with insight into the mind of criminals and those that defend and prosecute them. I think you'll enjoy this book.
