Forget about DK, Eyewitness, Knopf or the others with the glossy photos. This was the one that got us there in England and Wales!! We brought three travel guides with us and this was the one we turned to again and again to find the best places to visit, the best scenery, the most scenic routes, the most interesting little tidbits of history (encapsulated in few words).
