5.0 out of 5 stars Great Indian dishes and easy to cook, April 11, 2005
I have used this book several times now when cooking for my family and friends. The recipes are easy to make when doing the right preparation upfront: putting the right ingredients in the bowls. The descriptions and shopping list are simple. There is a broad variety of dishes (meat, fish and vegetables) and they really taste great and very Indian. My kids favour the Chicked Tikka Massala, which has a nice sauce and not too spicy. I have several Indian cooking books but this one is my favorite.

5.0 out of 5 stars Delicious and difficult to mess up., April 18, 2008
By Lola (Colorado) - See all my reviews
My co-worker came to work consistently with the most fragrant dishes. Upon approaching her I discovered this little gem. I have made 10+ recipes out of it and have not been disappointed yet. I even catered a graduation using this little guy and was able to assemble multiple dishes simultaneously w/o error (even though my bowl selection was spread fairly thin!).

Great investment. If you have a local library check it out. You won't be disappointed.

1.0 out of 5 stars poor
This book tries to simplify Indian cooking, but it gets confusing with all the bowls and mixtures. I prefer traditional recipes.
