Hi folks,

It was quite a buzz to find that my two music CDs, Nobody Nowhere (yes, same title as the book) and Mutation are now both on Amazon.  Found this review pretty wonderful... so thank you Natalie.

The Ultimate Artist, July 24, 2006
Reviewer:Natalie "NMW" (USA) - See all my reviewsDonna Williams' music WILL touch you. She is an artist in ways that are incomprehensible to most. I urge you to listen, read, and check out her paintings and sculptures, for she epitomizes the word ART, as she is a master work in and of herself.

Two tracks from the music CD feature in a Japanese TV series called Things You Taught Me and another track reached the top 50 jazz tracks on American Idol Underground.

Hope you enjoy the albums.

On other news I just received my first award for a feature film screenplay.
Can't say much more till after the presentations but that was quite a buzz.

I have a new art exhibition coming up this May at Gallery 15 in Flinders Lane, Melbourne in a program run by Peak Events called Art For A Cause, here:

http://www.peakevents.com.au/gallery/

It's a wonderful gallery.  You can have a look at the art works as they're created by visiting the online gallery at http://www.donnawilliams.net .

Hope you're all happy and healthy.

Thanks for listening.

Warmly,

Donna Williams *)

Hi folks,

Welcome to 2007.
Hope you're all finding something inspirational this New Year.

Late 2006 came a 3 week gallery exhibition of my art at Vanguard Gallery in Northcote where half the works sold and went off to new homes.  My DVD number 7, A Life in Pictures , was shown there and people found it pretty inspiring.

I rounded 2006 off in November with a trip to LA to meet my film producer and a director and executive producer coming on board to make my screenplay of Nobody Nowhere a screen realisation and hoping to get filming in the foreseeable future!

In December we adopted Tawny Frogmouth named Furby, his new teacher, a Little Corella named Captain Corelli, and I finished screenplay number 6 - Mc Reedy's Christmas.

The start of 2007 has seen me doing a final edit on the novel, Diamonds In The Mud which may be published later this year :-)

I'm also working on screenplay number 7, a comedy set in India!

2007 has me and some eccentric artist friends, accomplished singer-songwriter Janette Geri, bestselling author Caiseal Mor and his partner, award winning artist Helen Wells, collaborating on a radio-program style podcast called Odd Pod which promises to be silly and hopefully interesting and illuminating.

Later in 2007 are two US tours, one UK tour, and seminars in Japan and Tokyo, all of which can be found on www.donnawilliams.net

I've been working on more art, will be learning mold making and casting so hoping to produce more sculptures, perhaps working on album number 3 and am learning about music recording from Janette Geri who so far is a wonderful autie-friendly instructor.
