We bought this book for our second trip to England, and we loved it! If you're into history, and like to find out-of-the-way castles, stone circles, long barrows, hillforts, etc., this book is perfect. Great color pictures throughout, and an excellent quality paperback. Noonan writes engagingly, and gives you his honest opinion of sites, and whether they're worth your time. He also provides clear directions, times, and prices. We've now ordered his similar book for Scotland, and are hoping it arrives before we leave!
