About the Author

Buroshiva Dasgupta, political journalist, is on the governing body of NEWS, along with Indira Bhattacharya who is also part of India's foremost green publication, Environ. All three are specialists in the fields of environmental awareness and the protection and preservation of India's natural heritage.
