Product Description

Quester is a tarot pack with a difference. Beautifully illustrated throughout, the inspirational book and cards invite you to join the Native American Brave on a journey of self-discovery, as he leaves his parents, the Chief and the Cornmother, and along the way encounters others such as the trickster Heyokah, the Shaman, the Shadow Dancer, Starwoman and Grandfather Sun. By working with the cards, you will travel with the Brave on his quest to become a fully fledged Spiritual Warrior. Quester has many dimensions, each unfolding a little more every time you consult the cards and the detailed interpretations that accompany them. Sure to fascinate those new to the tarot as well as experienced students, Quester includes a total of 79 fully illustrated cards, all based on original paintings; Unique symbolism in the deck, including the extra Warrior card which has no counterpart in standard tarot sets; Detailed interpretations of the cards and easy to use spreads; How to consult the cards for divination; Ways to work with them for self development; and meditations and information on the Qabbalah and Jungian archetypes.

5.0 out of 5 stars Highly recommended, August 18, 2005

I was recommended by my Lakota shaman teacher that this is the deck that is most in tune with the Plains people and their language. This, the Quester, and the Star that Never Walks around. I use both regularly, if you want the real thing, this is it.

1.0 out of 5 stars New age cards designed for gulable people, March 18, 2005

I don't liike to give negative reviews for things but this deck takes the cake. I have seen many many native american decks which are questionable but all pale in comparrison to this one. The deck simply has no feeling to it. Its as though someone took a bunch of pictures of native peoples, and I dont mean authentic medicine people, I mean pictures of supposed shamans in full head dress, you know the typical hollywood indian....well its like someone took pictures of those and then a bunch of animals and created a deck. I have to say, hats off the the creator of this thing for comming up with a way to pawn people out of their money cause anyone who buys this is only gonna get one thing out of it, being riped off.
