5.0 out of 5 stars "Collecting Moorcroft Pottery" by Robert Prescott Walker, August 3, 2008
By Suzan ! ""lovemybooks"" (Townsville, Australia) - See all my reviews
Even if you never actually buy Moorcroft pottery, this is a lovely book full of illustrations in full colour covering the heyday of the development of Moorcroft Pottery. Best of all, if you are a collector, modest or otherwise, this book details prices and potters marks, deciphering them, so that buyers can be aware of what they are actually purchasing. The text is also an easy and informative read and certainly built on my own knowledge of this beautiful art form. I do recommend this book heartedly to all those who love Moorcroft pottery for whatever reason and I hope that Robert Prescott Walker follows up with another book detailing Moorcroft from where this book left off!
