2.0 out of 5 stars Stream Fishing Part Good. Lake Fishing Part is Worthless., August 15, 1999
By A Customer
Bill Herzog is an accomplished stream angler. Anything he would say about stream fishing is worth listening about. So for this part of the book, there are some good points.

Herzog, however, is not a lake angler and knows little about fishing for trout in lakes. Given some of the big names in lake fishing for trout, I find the dissemination of the material to be impatient and the tips worthless. It also seems that products were stuck into the book just for the sake of impressing wholesalers to take it. That is, " Look Mr. Buyer, we told everyone to use this spoon so the book will sell well. "

Bill, you are a master at river fishing. Stick with what you know best.
