5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent "How To" advice, April 21, 2000
By A Customer
Using only the material contained in this book I negotiated (without the expense of lawyer, accountant or ex-IRS official) a fifteen cents on the dollar settlement of a past due account with the IRS. I found the advice clear and easy to follow. Bottom line: if you are having problems with the IRS this book is definitely worth buying and reading.

4.0 out of 5 stars This is a good book, discussing the IRS Offer in Compromise program, June 22, 2009

This is a good book, covering the topic of the IRS Offer in Compromise Program. The author also talks about other avenues for mitigating IRS debt. The information is useful and well put together. There's a little bit of shameless self-promotion in the book, which I guess can be expected.

But the content is all there, and it's good. This is one of the few OIC books on the market that's affordable, too. I've seen some OIC books selling for upwards of $100, so if you are considering an OIC, read this book cover to cover before you even attempt it.

The IRS doesn't like to compromise--they hate doing anybody any favors. So you might as well be as informed as you can.
