This book is written in the name of man's love of life and, more specifically, the guardian spirit of that love which lies dormant, undefined and undeveloped throughout much of mankind. The cover art, reproduced from a painting by the French mystic, Irene Jacob, depicts rays of Accelerated Thought generated through essence-desire, penetrating and unlocking the secrets of the obscure matter of a dark planet, infusing it with luminescence. Flaring granules emerge as conscious cells to circulate in the blood of the cosmos, vivifying it with love.
In man the microcosm, the matter of this "dark planet" represents opacity of spirit - our resignation to limitation and restriction - the acceptance of "death and taxes." Greed, addiction, envy, sloth, cynicism, pettiness and all kinds of excess are engendered by the culturally mediated, artificial and addictive needs that matter induces in us.
A new, holistic, breakthrough-oriented science with Project Mind as its model will create unlimited material abundance, eliminating physical lack and suffering. More important, it will disperse those acquired, nefarious effects crystallized in our presences, collectively known as materialism. Accelerated Thought, in transforming the abnormal conditions of our distracted existence, will release our minds to experience reality and reveal our true lacks as being essentially non-physical. Our present opacity of essence will give way to the coherent lucidity of divine intelligence as we discover that our "body" is, in reality, all Mind.
