It identifies and explains 28 distinct, auditable requirements that must be implemented to upgrade a quality system from ISO 9000:1994 revision. Every requirement is systematically explained with regard to interpretation, procedures and records, and the way certification auditors will verify conformance. In essence, the book reinterprets the new requirements into a list of specific actions that need to be taken to achieve conformance, and explains how to implement them in the organization. While the book does deliever on what the title suggests - a guide to the 2000 version requirements, it is definitely not for a reader who is new to ISO and the ISO standards. It almost felt like I started the book after skipping the first several chapters.

A must have guilde for Quality Consultants and Quality Managers to upgrade the certification to comply with the revisions.

It also helps pople to undertand abou th ISO standards and the need for the revision.
