5.0 out of 5 stars Strategies for Teaching Brain Injured Students, August 26, 2001
While searching for ways to help my TBI son, I discovered this book with concrete strategies for meeting the myriad of challenges facing the brain injured student. For example, a review of basic cognitive processing and typical deficits is followed with a list of 11 intervention strategies to be used in the classroom. Similarly memory deficits, planning and organizational difficulties, sequencing problem solving, and general classroom recomendations are covered. I am purchasing this book to give to all my son's teachers as they face the challenge of how to help him learn with his "new" brain.
