Editorial Reviews

Amazon.com Review

J. Douglas Arnold and Willy Campos do a masterful job of providing both overviews and playing tips for the top Nintendo 64 games. Their breezy style reflects the fun of game play without sacrificing conciseness or clarity. Covered are Super Mario 64, Turok: Dinosaur Hunter, Shadows of the Empire, Mortal Kombat Trilogy, Killer Instinct Gold, Wave Race 64, Mario Kart 64, Pilotwings 64, NBA Hangtime, Wayne Gretzky's 3D Hockey and Cruis'n USA. Their approach delivers your money's worth in tips while a data box at the beginning of each chapter runs down age recommendations, necessary peripherals, and game pros and cons. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

5.0 out of 5 stars This book gave me everything I needed to know (for now.....), January 13, 1998

I liked the book, it was informative, but 5 new N64 games are coming out every month; this book wouldn't be neccesarry unless you're only going to buy one or more of those specific games.
