5.0 out of 5 stars Attachment is best, January 25, 2000
By A Customer
This video shows two sets of babies--those left on their mothers' bellies for at least one hour after birth and those who were immediately removed for "routine" cleanup. Among the two groups, you see a non-medicated birth, a medicated birth, and a c-section. It's amazing to watch the non-medicated baby left to its own crawl up the mother and latch on to the breast. Follow this amazing acheivement with babies (like the c-section one) who barely move and lie limp on the mothers stomach. This short video (6 minutes) is truly amazing and a must-see for anyone working with newborns.

5.0 out of 5 stars amazing information, February 26, 2001
By Deborah Tobis (N.M.B, FL United States) - See all my reviews
I viewed this video in a hypnobirthing class and was amazed at the fact that we are born with the drive to seek food. This video shows determination in a newborn that the average person could never believe is possible. The tape shows the difference between a newborn who is drugged and not drugged. The non-drugged newborn actually crawls to the breast for food. This tape is anazing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great video for childbirth classes, September 30, 2004
By Rachel H. Nguyen (Rhode Island, USA) - See all my reviews

I was a natural childbirth instructor and this was one of my favorite videos for class. It clearly shows how strong and busy a newborn is if he or she is allowed to bond with mom right away... My students were always amazed at this little video.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing babies (and cute)
We were shown clips from this video in our childbirth class.

2.0 out of 5 stars rather disappointing
This very short video (6 minutes) seems to show more text than film - not what I expected. The parts of the film showing the baby's self attachment (to its mother's breast after... Read more
