Amazing Universe III makes learning fun. (Link-Up, Sept 95); Unlike most CD-ROMs that offer rather pointless, fragmentary videos lasting only a few seconds, Amazing Universe III has full-length featurettes that run, in the case of one called "The Sun and Beyond," as long as 8 1/2 minutes with narration plus spooky electronic music...Amazing Universe III is definitely one of the more effective multi-media discs on the market. (EQUINOX, Oct 95); The SkyView part of the program is one of the best I have seen. All dialog boxes are fully equipped with appropriate and logical titles and subtitles. In my judgment, this program, although designed with the beginner in mind, has a great deal to offer even the experienced amateur.
