Excellent Book for healing, May 8, 2001
Reiki & Other Rays of Touch Healing by Kathleen Milner. A comprehensive manual on healing. The author gives concrete examples in both the use of symbols and a variety of healing techniques interwoven into her own healing processes (following two automobile accidents) and her subsequent work on the inner planes with higher beings. The book explains techniques that can be utilized to develop psychic abilities and how to achieve deeper levels of meditation, and then ties this in with the healing process and different mysticisms. Kathleen offers her readers a fresh, meaningful understanding of the history of Reiki combined with Jesus' teachings and related aspects of other spiritualisms. There are chapters dealing with the use of healing energy in ceremonial work and Feng Shui. There's also a chapter devoted to healing animals, including a story of how a horse was healed of blindness in two weeks.Kathleen believes that all healing energy comes from the Creative, Loving Force behind this Universe, and the final chapter explains the dynamics of initiation into reiki and the other rays of touch healing. If you are a healer, or you're involved in the healing process, it is a source you may find yourself often referring to.

Very well written with very useful healing methods, March 8, 2001
This book explains very clear the history and evolution of the healing system Reiki since the introduction of this wonderful gift by Mikao Usui. A lot has been said about all the different Reiki systems...the only way to know for yourself what is best for you is to look at what the Reiki Masters and their students can do. Can they perform healings as they were done by Mikao Usui, or not? Kathleen gives very useful examples of how she performs Reiki healing sessions with ready to use hand positions, meditation techniques and healing techniques. The different trigger points on the body are described and their use in Reiki healing sessions. Very often I find myself looking up information about healing techniques when I do Reiki sessions myself. A wonderful book about Reiki and healing.

In response to comments, December 20, 1999
I can appreciate that you encourage reader comments. I can also appreciate that readers may not agree with everything that I have to say. In the "Introduction" to both of my books I encourage people to consider the possibilities, see what works and form their own opinions. Within the content of my books I also give some ways of ascertaining the Truth. However, one of the most consistent comments that I receive is that my books are very readable. Rather than being 12-point type (which is actually larger than most books) and single-spaced, my books are 10-point type and double spaced. This allows readers to take notes or as others have pointed out, people can read between the lines. I do often digress to make a point, but I always come back to the original thought and then tie thoughts together. It is like weaving a tapestry but my colors are words, my yarn is ideas and together they create patterns of thought. Most readers feel that this gives my work substance; that is, ideas are based in reality so that they can grab a hold with their minds. In addition, for those who learn visually there are companion videos listed in the back of both "Reiki & Other Rays of Touch Healing" and "Tera, My Journey Home". Thank you, Kathleen Milner
