5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent relevant historical treatment of Swedish carving, December 14, 1999

(REAL NAME)
Carving and Whittling: The Swedish Style is an excellent source for historical information of techniques and materials in the Swedish style of carving, as well as some information on other cultures' development of carving. One of my all time favorite carving books I have had the pleasure of reading and putting to use. Overall a great book and wonderful photos.
