POLYinforMER, Volume VIII, Number 3 [March 1998]
Instructional videos are the next best thing to being there, in a classroom with a favorite artist. They make great gifts, and are a fun way to introduce beginners to the wonders of polymer clay. This latest set from MindStorm's Master Artisan series is as nicely packaged and professionally produced as the rest of the line.
As I viewed the tapes, I was impressed by the careful balance Kato strikes between project-oriented and technique-oriented material. Those who need to see a completed project in order to visualize the end result could work though the instructions from start to finish and happily complete jewelry or home decor items. An experienced viewer could pick up new techniques just by watching, then apply them to her own work.
As a polymer clay instructor, I liked Kato's clear, concise explanations of techniques and polymer clay concepts. Her delivery is very calm and relaxed throughout.

Here is what some of our customers have said:
This is a good - as it is titled - "introduction" to the world of polymer clays. I've been working clay for some time, yet I still learned some new things. (Margie Wall ["The Stick People"], Waldport, OR)
Great videos! Informative and interesting. I've been into polymer clay for more than 2 years and learned something new from each video. (Mary Anne Masley, Phoenix, AZ)
The videos are grrrreat! the productions is really very professional and the tips are super. Donna is really a natural on camera and a great teacher. they were worth every penny. (Julie Stark, Buenos Aires, Argentina)
I have ordered several of your videos and have been very happy with them. The videography has been excellent, and it is so much easier to learn a technique by actually seeing it demonstrated as opposed to trying to follow instructions in a book. (Marjorie McGrow, Ownigs Mills, MD)
