About the Author
Artist Earl Moran (1893-1984) was a pin-up and glamour artist and a professional photographer. A young Norma Jean Dougherty posed for Moran before she became known as Marilyn Monroe. He painted several 12-month pin-up calendars during and after World War II and was known as one of the top artists of his genre.
