Review
Author Gary Null is a nutritionist whose popular radio program on health and fitness is syndicated throughout the U.S. I have long felt that the real strength of his program is the guests he interviews-leading alternative and holistic health practitioners from around the world. This book culls the best information from those interviews, mercifully edited of new age chitchat, resulting in a resource that may astonish you with the number and variety of alternative treatments available for everything from schizophrenia to cancers and allergies. It ends with a resource guide listing hundreds of holistic practitioners, indexed both by the treatments and the illnesses that are their specialties. Yes, this is anecdotal information at best, and pop medicine at worst, but with more than enough original and fascinating material to recommend it. --
