Viktor Schauberger was a genius whose ideas were far ahead of his time. He worked as a "forest-master" in the Austrian Alps when they were still a true wilderness. This experience was to influence his entire life's work.

Schauberger prophesied the environmental crises we are seeing today, predicting that unless we start to cherish rather than exploit our world, we would surely destroy ourselves. He demonstrated how deforestation would deplete the world of water, causing deserts and climatic chaos. Asked about our technology, "How else should it be done?" His answer was "exactly in the opposite way that it is done today!" His maxim: "Comprehend and Copy Nature!"

From his precise observations of the processes of Nature, Schauberger pioneered a completely new understanding of the nature of water as the most important life-giving and energy-empowered substance on the planet. This led him to develop a radical new science which flew in the face of conventional scientific thinking but which, today, is being increasingly recognized for its highly-relevant implications for civilization.

Viktor Schauberger might have made a career as a brilliant inventor. Forced, for a time, to develop radical new forms of propulsion for the Third Reich , he went on to work on devices utilizing the principles of implosion -- hundreds of times more powerful than conventional power sources. Even in the weeks just before his death, US government and commercial interests were exerting pressure on him to reveal his secrets.

Schauberger's deep insights in the special properties of water and nature hold immense implications for future technology and ecology.

If you truly want a full understanding of the person - Callum Coats, and his devotion to uncovering all of the works of Viktor Schauberger, then get this two VHS set. I have all of the books written by Coats. I have also begun my own research into the inventions of Viktor Schauberger using Coats' work as a starting point. This video, although slightly "slow" paced is a great addition to your study material on Schauberger. I wish there was more on the inventions, which are not really mentioned, however, the video does delve into the inner workings of how Coats became fascinated with Schauberger's work. It is more based on the vortex and implosion material that appears in "Living Energies" and the "Water Wizard" in the book series. All in all, this video set gives a more thorough understanding of Viktor's work and I would say - buy it.

While the presentation of Schaubergers work here requires an espresso always on hand, the actual information is electrifying in content. Any student of the earth sciences should at least taste his most intellegent and grounded works. His theories are not just theories, but based on actual observations over a long period of time. Their 'sense' is rational and apparent even to the untrained. Even a perusal of his work will clearly tell why most modern premises on water management(at least)don't work well in the short or long term. I'm not trying to belittle or argue. I do feel that this work would do well to be assimilated into mainstream water management studies and applications.

This is a great video review of the life and philosophy of Viktor Schauberger.Even back in the late 19th century,there was a 'Lebensraum' problem.Resources were always being exploited and wasted by the christian leaders and their toady christian workers.Once upon a time,the Rhine river was so pure that it gave the phrase,"Rheingold",for its brillant clean shine.When the christian engineers straightened out the natural curving fluvial directions,they destroyed the natural cleaning process given by the Rhine river.It's still quite polluted,with a slimy green murky look.The trees that pull in the polluted watery chemical stew,are dying off.Without the trees,we are slowly killing off the larger mammals,i.e. we humans first.Collum Coats makes an excellent environmental presentation here.Some may say his efforts are futile,yet the conservation,wise management and recycling of resources is our only hope for survival in our global village today.
