My wife and I received this book shortly after we were married and now that we have been married for almost 2 years we have found a lot of the advice in this book really holds true. We both have read through it and still enjoy rereading it. We have been giving it as show gifts to friends. It is a great book about marriage!

This seemingly simple book has practical advice not just for marriage but for life in general. Its 1008 suggestions have caused me to reconsider my own choices, both within my relationship but also in living life in general. The author is obviously drawing from a deep well of wisdom, both spiritual but also on day to day living. I especially like its format of short but pithy and inspiring aphorisms. I would recommend this book to anyone, married or not. What a bargain...!

Don't waste your money on this book. It's simply a series of inane platitudes that really isn't very useful unless you live your life these type of platitudes.
