She has taken a special interst in helping new mothers adjust to motherhood and bring peace into their homes. Dr. Nightingale is also the author of A Quiet Time for New Mothers: Ways to Relax and Rejuvenate, and My Parents Still Love Me Even Though They're Getting Divorced: An Interactive Tale for Children. She has also authored many professional journal and self-help articles, as well as therapeutic stories and audiotapes.
