I've been out of college for a few years and I'm still using this book. It was actually a gift... and a life-saver! If you're prone to toaster fires, have actually poisoned someone (accidently) and keep a chisel next to your can opener, yes, you do need this. And yes, it really will help. Parents will be in awe of your culinary talent, and you can tell them that you're not really spending all of your money on beer, but on cooking lessons!

I recommend this book to anyone who would like to spend less time reading the recipe and more time actually cooking it.
