About the Author
Sylvia Horner Kreng is the author of the "Books for the Soul" series, including the Angel Manul, Seeds for the Soul, Bless You, Love's Little Suggestion Book, and Beyond Peace and Quiet: Meditative Moments.
She has also written for Family Circle, Boys' Life, Highlights for Children, the Wall Street Journal, Trails, the Optimist Magazine, Goodstay, and Current, Inc.
She has been a Sunday School teacher, a teacher of English and art, a bookseller, and a librarian.
She was born in Clarksburg, West Virginia, and lived in Buckhannon, Monongah, and Fairmont before moving to Ohio.
In Ohio, she lived in Mecca, Kinsman, and Warren before earning her B. A. in English and art from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.
Country roads took her home again to West Virginia, this time to Morgantown, where she worked in the West Virginia University libraries.
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania was her next home, then Portsmouth, Virginia. While there she attended Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia.
She has now settled in the City of the Angels: Los Angeles, California.
