This is more a book like chicken soup for the soul. Most of the stories include some tragedy & redemption, and few are about enjoying running, or why you might want to run.

Some are well written, some less so. Many of them read, to me, like someone sat down to write a moving story with running in it, rather than being from a runner's life.

I think what put me off was that I wanted motivating stories about running, not moving stories, that happened to include running.

There are a handful of stories that are by people who seem to really enjoy running, and will make you want to grab your shoes and go, but not many.
