5.0 out of 5 stars Sailor Moon Scout Guide, February 14, 2001
By Andrea "moonkingdom22" (Clare, Michigan) - See all my reviews
This is quite a book, with everything you want to know about Sailor Moon. It also introduces the Sailor Moon S series with the new characters like Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, Saturn, and eh Sailor Mini moon. It has info on her profile, criteria, battle scenes, transformations, origin, secrets, friends, family, and her past, present, and future life.

I'm also surprised to see very unique and lovely pictures in it. It has different song lyrics at the end of the book like "Heart Moving" and "Tuxedo Mirage". It also tells a few other things the dubbed series didn't reveal.

In the book she is referred to as "Serena Tsukino".... hmmm... They go very into detail! Actually, Serena is the one one who plays herself when you read the book. She is telling her life to you.

Overall, this book is so worth it. I learned quite a bit of new things and it should be on evry collectors shelf. Facts.... just the facts...

5.0 out of 5 stars Every true SM fan should own the leader's book., July 10, 2003
This is probely one of the best Sailor Moon books you can get. Every single page {93 pages in all} has full color.
It doesn't matter to me if the book is too young reading level for me, and you shouldn't care anyways cause that's not the point of this book. The point is to give you information about Sailor Moon. And don't think you're wasting your money on this, because you're not. Every penny for this is worth it.
Anywho, this book is divided into three parts:
1. Sailor Moon
2. Sailor Moon Episode Best 5
3. Sailor Moon Encyclopedia.

Sailor Moon:
The Secret Origin of Sailor Moon:
Scenes from the first episode and a review about it.
Sailor Moon Book One- scenes from the past and future.
Sailor Moon Tranformation Gallery:
Sailor Moon's tranformations 1st four tranformations{ excluding Princess Serena}.
Sailor Moon in Action:
Sailor Moon's first five attacks.
Introducing the Sailor Team:
Pictures from previous episodes of the Sailor Team.

Sailor Moon Episode Best 5:
Includes pictures and a summary from these five episodes:
1. A Crystal Clear Destiny.
2. Day of Destiny
3. The Cosmetics Caper.
4. Destiny's Arrival/ The Birth of Super Sailor Moon.
5. Serena's Pure Heart/ Darkness My Old Friend.

Sailor Moon Encylopedia:
Secrets of the Guardian:
Facts about the moon.
50 Secrets of Sailor Moon:
Asked questions/answered about Sailor Moon.
Serena's Friends:
Talks about all of Serena's friends.
Sailor Moon's Battle Record:
Pictures from the first, second, and third seasons{with captions by the pictures}.
Once again, I advise all Sailor Moon fans {mostly the true ones} to buy this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Fifth and Final Installment, September 10, 2000
By Casey (Binghamton, NY USA) - See all my reviews
The fifth and final installment of the Sailor Moon Scout Guides by Mixx is by far the best. It follows the same formula as the previous four, but adds a special touch for the title character. I'm not going to give anything away, you'll have to find out for yourself. This book has beautiful pictures from the anime, and lots of information about Sailor Moon. A great book for any SM fan's collection.
