5.0 out of 5 stars Finally, a guide to Chicago Ghosts, December 13, 2001
By casper (Illinois) - See all my reviews
I have been looking for a simple guide to get me around the Chicagoland area, well this is definitely it. This book is simple to use, and provides easy directions to the haunted locations. I found the maps a great asset to help me get around Chicago. The book describes the location, and the event that is happening there. Ever wonder how to get to Bachelors Grove cemetery? Monk's Castle? Wonder if anyone famous is buried or anything unusal happening at some cemetery? Take this Field Guide with you when your out on the town, and who knows what you may encounter.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Field Guide, December 7, 2001
By casper (Illinois) - See all my reviews
This book is a must for any person living or visting Chicago in search of Ghosts or the paranormal. The author is a real-life ghost researcher for the group that was featured on Discovery Channel's "Real Ghosthunters." The book explains what is going at a specific location, gives you directions on how to get there, and even includes a map. This book is a dream come true for any paranormal investigator! Anyone looking for Bachelors Grove Cemetery or Resurrection Mary? Monk's castle? Then you need to pick this up and read the book. It's a great book that I am glad to have purchased. Many locations that are hard to locate are made easy with this book. Excellent!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice Series, June 9, 2006
I found this series of books to be very helpful for those of us in the paranormal field. I enjoy having enough information to get me to the location without getting lost and then having enough information at my fingertips to recall why I am in this area. Most of the books I have read are pretty vague on a exact gravesites, but not this book! Jim Graczyk had a great concept when he started this series of books and I always look for further editions in the series. If your looking for a guide to bring out in the field with you, toss this book in the glovebox or your bag, you'll appreciate you did!
