5.0 out of 5 stars INTRIGUING HISTORY BROUGHT TO LIFE, May 2, 2002
By Lois G. Lenz (Norman, OK USA) - See all my reviews

This book reports the culmination of some amazing history and facts. It is a factual story of how a material was discovered with which we can reclaim lakes and ponds to a pristine state, as well as our health, with the use of products made from a natural and ancient material. This is not snake oil medicine, although it is almost unbelievable.

At age 75 I can testify to the real benefits and the joy resulting from this "Holy Water, Sacred Oil", which I might have missed had I not read this book!

1.0 out of 5 stars Making Mountains out of a Mole Hile, May 30, 2004
By P. Nabadalung (Bangkok Thailand) - See all my reviews

It is undeniable that nearly 95% of the population is Magnesium deficient. But the book tells you to get magnesium transdermally using magnesium oxide. Magnesium oxide is a slow process where carbon dioxide from the skin becomes carbonic acid then reacts with magnesium oxide to produce magnesium bicarbonate whereupon the skin is then absorbed slowly. I suggest you buy magnesium carbonate, and get a good soda water, the process will form a large amount of magnesium bicarbonate, and then drink it. You will notice health improvements within an hour (if you have a back pain). The book's recommendation is far too slow. Taking it internally via magnesium bicarbonate, and if you know your chemistry mixing it with a very small amount of sea water, the body will absorb magnesium much better since our body uses a sodium pump mechanism. If you are not very good at this, just buy Oral Rehydration Pack and get some magnesium chloride (about 1000 grams) you should see much better results then the more complicated method of bathing! Let me tell you another secret, as we get older our body's ability to utilize calcium is greatly reduce, due to the fact that we are boron deficient! Boron is essential in balancing calcium and magnesium by preventing our body from excreting magnesium and/or calcium. I can go on and on here, but the fact is if you are interested in Magnesium I suggest you go direct and buy the book Magnesium, The Nutrient That Could Change Your Life, which does not beat around the bush. Oh yes, just one thing, I have tested my aging dog and I found out if you feed the dog with magnesium (bicarbonate or chloride) and take bath with water mixed with borax (a source of boron) the aging dogs skin and fur problem is greatly reduced. So I would therefore assume that both magnesium and boron are important in maintaining magnesium calcium balance as well as increasing magnesium due to our foods being lack of it. In fact dead sea is one of the few sources where the salt is rich with magnesium which is why it is so health promoting.

5.0 out of 5 stars The safest way of getting our intracellular magnesium !, November 10, 2003
By Debbie Allen (WebDeb.Com) - See all my reviews
This book about Jim Carter is a powerful story about natural healing and wellness.
Dr Shealy explains Jim's work and how you can share the perfect health discussed
in this book. It is a quick read - you will not be able to put it down!
Some of the facts discussed...
Magnesium deficiency is seen in all major diseases. Thousands of studies have documented
that higher levels of magnesium often have a major impact on recovery. For example, if you
are given a shot of magnesium after having a heart attack, it improves your changes of
recovery by 50 percent.

DHEA is a hormone, and such a common hormone that it is largely ignored.
Also, like magnesium - low levels of DHEA are associated with almost every
known disease. In fact, the only known diseases associated with normal levels
of DHEA are schizophrenia and acute alcoholism.

Read this book and learn how to raise magnesium and DHEA levels, simply.
