This guide is designed to work with all currently available blood analyzer systems, providing detailed guidelines for interpretation of the hemogram, identification of artifacts and false positive results.

About the Author
Dr. Alan H. Rebar is the Dean at Purdue University in the School of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Peter S. MacWilliams is Professor of Clinical Pathology, at the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine. His principal research interests are cytologic diagnosis of disease in domestic animals, application of laboratory tests to production enhancement, bone marrow responses to systemic diseases in cattle.

Dr. Bernard F. Feldman is Professor of Biomedicine and Pathology at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine with extensive teaching and research responsibilities in Comparative Hematology and Transfusion Medicine.

Dr. Fred L. Metzger founded and practices at the "Metzger Animal Hospital" at the State College in Pennsylvania.

Dr. Roy V. H. Pollock is President of the Fort Hill Company in, Montchanin, Delaware.

This is an excellent and very practical reference book. The pictures are very good and help supplement the text. This book will help any veterinary practitioner do a better job with diagnosing and treating his or her patients.
