About the Author
Kathy Stinson is an award-winning author of over 20 books for children and young adults, including picture books, juvenile fiction, young adult fiction and non-fiction titles published in Canada and abroad. Stinson has been a Writer in Residence at the Toronto Public Library and an Electronic Writer in Residence and leads advanced writing workshops at the Canadian Children's Book Centre. She is a member of the Writers' Union of Canada, CANSCAIP, IBBY-Canada, the Canadian Children's Book Centre and PEN Canada. Her children grown, Kathy has moved to a hamlet near Guelph, where she continues to write full-time.
