Book Description
This book is a wake-up call to a sleeping Church to rise and embrace the destiny to which she is called at the end of this age. Although the popular literature of the day comforts us with scenarios of early rapture, the prophetic books of Daniel and Revelation describe in great detail the Church’s destiny and call during the last three and one- half years of this age. During these crucial years, the final lap of the race the Church is called to run will be run; the entire world will hear the gospel; Satan will be overcome; and a Bride without spot or wrinkle will emerge from the birthpains of tribulation in the mature stature provided for by the shedding of Jesus’ blood. The entire creation is groaning in birthpains for the revealing of this glorious Church, yet we insist on being removed from the earth before all of this takes place. Arguments of silence are used to suggest that the Church is not described in the middle chapters of the Book of Revelation, because the word “Church” is not used. Who then, may I ask, are those whose robes are washed in the Blood of the Lamb? Who are those who follow the Lamb wherever He goes? Who are those who are encouraged to endure to the end and hold to the testimony of Jesus? To conclude that these saints are not the Church because the term “Church” is not directly applied to them is not a minor doctrinal slip.

Who would want us not to know this? Whose best interests does it serve to keep the Church so deceived? These teachings are a deception from the pit of hell designed to keep the Church unaware of her glorious call! And without vision of our glorious destiny and call, we will be in no condition to endure to the end of the age as Jesus said we must. Perhaps that is why He said that many will fall away and the love of most will grow cold. Please, Church, wake up!! We must throw out our popular humanistic man-pleasing scenarios of the end-times and begin listening to Jesus, the greater end-times authority. We, the Church, are destined to glorify the Father by demonstrating His wisdom, in the form of the cross of Jesus Christ, to the powers and authorities in the heavenly places. The climax of this demonstration will take place on earth during the final three and one-half years of this age --- the very times our teachers are telling us we will be absent from. This book is not! a “gloom and doom” message, but one of encouragement to finish the race that Jesus has called each of us to run.

From the Author
I believe the Church is largely deceived about her destiny and calling at the end of this age. This deception is due in large part to the humanistic man-pleasing doctrines of the end-times which have been taught but do not agree with the plain and simple truth of Scripture. We have been led astray by false teachings. These scenarios ignore the very reasons why God created His Church (see Ephesians 3:8-12) and sacrifice the Glory of God for the humanistic agendas of men. Jesus is the authority on the end-times, and we need to reconsider what He taught. This book looks at the call of the Church at the end of this age from the basis of Jesus' teachings and what the Bible says are the foundational reasons why God created the Church. It is a call to endurance to the end of the age while walking the pathway of the cross. It is a call to endure events that Jesus describes as birthpains so that we can emerge as mature Sons of God.
