Amazon.com Review
Every kid knows what you do if you're happy and you know it: clap your hands! But this big board book of teddy bears clapping their hands, touching their toes, jumping up high, and touching the sky will remind every reader just how much fun being happy (and knowing it) can be. David Ellwand's photos of a bevy of bears--some obviously well-loved and -worn--are remarkably lively. The old-fashioned teddies hop around against a mostly white background, while nearby the familiar preschool song is printed in large, jiggly black lettering on pastel yellows and greens and blues. Fans of Ellwand's other titles might just recognize these photogenic bears from the equally pleasing counting book,
Ten in the Bed. (Baby to preschool)

From Publishers Weekly
Teddy bears feature prominently in two photographic books by David Ellwand, Ten in the Bed: A Counting Book and Clap Your Hands: An Action Book. Tucked-in Teddies reach across the opening pages of the first title, but as the bears fall out, they appear against increasingly larger pastel panels on the right. In the second, the bears play along to the popular preschool song ("If you're happy and you know it clap your hands"). (May)
