Editorial Reviews

Review
(Mr. Baird) has a real talent for spotting the "blindingly" obvious that most people miss. -- Philip Gardiner, author of The Shining Ones

Diverse Druids is also weirdly compelling -- Rambles.net

I have been following (Baird's) work with great interest. He has accumulated much knowledge regarding the older secret societies. -- Jim Marrs, author of Rule by Secrecy

Product Description
History is a web of journalistic intrigue written to benefit those who have been in charge. They won the wars they generated through their NEEDS, and usurped the knowledge of sincere adepts, like Jesus and Buddha. There is no real new insight in this perspective but in this book you will start the process of seeing for yourself just how incredible the gamesmanship or forgery has been. Lactantius was the tutor for the house of Constantine who edited the Bible and designed much of what Christianity has become. This ancient sage was an early promoter of the Flat Earth and he noted there ‘will always be those who will lie and forge for religion’.

It is my hope that you can assist the enlightenment that must occur once you see some of the forensic and archaeological information now available. Perhaps more importantly I hope you will find roots to all religion which must develop tolerance and ecumenicism if we are to endure as a species on this planet hurtling ever faster through the unlimited creative and awesome universe we are blessed with.

Some academics decry the Post-Modern era where the knowledge is available for all to make their own judgment about. I have no definite opinion about most things and I hope we all can strive to find the answers together. I look forward to seeing these academics tear apart what I have done as I present information hidden or not employed in any other book. I await the inevitable outcry; but I am sure there are reasons why the great sage Lao Tzu went to see the Ancient Masters of the Tarim Basin where the Red-Heads developed most of the technology and other social systems that we are now finding spread around the world. My speculations that seek to integrate various facts of sciences are not the final answer and I look forward to the reader assisting me in helping bring the ‘Brotherhood’ back to the forefront of life on Earth.

4.0 out of 5 stars Come Equipped and Prepared to Ride the Dragon, December 6, 2003
Baird opens a challenging forum to which a reader had better be an initiate or be prepared to scurry for research every 2 pargraphs. This is NOT Druids 101. This book can be an arena for the experienced gladiator to parry facts vs concepts; or for the upcoming questor, one of the most intense lists of 'subjects-to-explore-the-genre' to be had.

Controversy over RB's statements will be resultant, he admits it and lays down the gauntlet. Perspectives and rationals on global dynamics, archaic to modern, as the current text system teaches it, could be overturned if his speculations prove out over the next few decades. This is one book that takes the Long View in both temporal directions, past and future.

On the first intro page at least 4 reference points leap directly into intense, non-linear dialog. Advisably, be pre-cognizant & familiar w/ the labyrinth into which Baird plunges as he critiques the masonry & structural integrity along deep passages.

A stimulating debate waits for those whose arsenal include World Cultural Development & historical powerplays over the known ages. Again, for the still-learning, this book offers a chance to use the info flow as a guide to subject matters which could be of key mind development, whether one comes to the same conclusions as Baird or heatedly not. This could be a next step in awareness for adept Anthro-historians or even well rounded Epigraphers.

Suggested study matter for Baird's "course": Geography; overall and inclusive Humanities/Spirituality; Cultural Isolationism vs Global Diffusion theory; Languages; Geology. Being MENSA or mad may help ;^) An energetically aggressive read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Definitely Diverse, April 4, 2004
Controversial truth seeking and mind gripping I recommend this book to all as a refreshing and exciting history you ought not miss - only requiring an open and inquisitive mind this will provide a challenging reference to human life perspective and could well be the real 'Story of our world'.

Herein lies an author who takes his reader on a labyrinth spanning the globe and back again, throughout millennia of time quoting countless examples of archeological, scientific and linguistic evidence to lead humanity to a common source - namely Druidic or Keltoi. This awesome revelation shows the reader his inextricable links to his fellow man! Mankind traversed the world integrating and re-integrating with itself thus creating the titled diversities.

Showing how ancient man knew of science, astronomy, medicine, language (written and spoken) & psychic phenomena long before modern man laid claim to discovering it. Past cultures where nobles not given any great status by virtue of birth but where their example had merited becoming representative of the ideals and morals of the community & where wasteful killing of all life forms was considered criminal & laws without capital punishment requirement worked effectively.

How spin-doctoring and manipulation of evidence has been prevalent throughout the world for centuries, keeping the proverbial ball of deception rolling to feed the illusion. He exposes the myth of war and atrocities cited in the cause of a 'greater good' and reveals their true intent, a pursuit of greed and power over fellow man, this with many examples from history and in the current state of the world, societies controlled and manipulated through fear.

Encouraging the reader to really 'see' the bigger picture and their place in the illusion - What is it that we fear? Losing that which we have.....then what do we have? This thought process leads to free thought in the reader with the realisation that no-one is really free whilst bound to the material, laying claim to portions of the earth and saying as a nation this is mine, the earth in effect belongs to no man and every man alike. He versus needs against perceived wants. Illuminating the imbalance throughout regarding human rights especially regarding women past and present through countless cultures and eras of human existence. Ancient and modern propaganda with countless provable references to repetitive events in history causing conflict, mistrust and disharmony which cried 'freedom' yet bound humanity!

He shows us the power we allow others over us through organized religion, labelling and clever manipulation of our emotions and perception. These influences never allowing us to realise that the power was in us all along, that no one needs a guide to their own soul and that soul is capable of right thought leading to right action and self guidance to an inner peace and acceptance, for a common world peace could never be achieved without this.....Why?Look at our current situation 'a war on terror' is a contradiction in terms.....each and every human is CAPABLE without predestination of becoming a terrorist so with this premiss there could be food for constant mistrust of and for all fellow men indefinitely, without a common agreement to harm none terror will forever be. {This agreement served ancient communities well!!}

By the same token every human is capable of unconditional love, honour and respect for all (fellow man) which cancels out the former 'truth'. Life being all about mutual agreement, humanity is what humanity creates and all people have the choice to be, therefore we all are responsible for what is.
In my opinion this book is brilliantly written in the sincere hope and belief in a Brotherhood of love, common world values of honour and respect of all to all, harm none meaning no harm is done and he encourages moreover challenges further study and personal research to those who could and should pick up the gauntlet.

5.0 out of 5 stars be prepared to push your mind when reading this book, March 26, 2004
By dale (seattle, wa usa) - See all my reviews
Mr. Baird's effort that was required to pen this book can never be fully appreciated ina short paragraph or two. The content within not only opens ones eyes to the history that shapes our global society, but will certainly give cause for reflecting on how to shape the world to come. Mr. Baird apears to have gone far beyond a simple lesson in history by offering the reader social and philosophical implications that must be considered. I have not ready anything to date that offers near the same level of research and insight into mankinds travels both physically and socially. A book that i see myself reading more than a few times.
